designboom features the recently opened - The Department Store. An exciting repurposing project where we worked closely with (owners/architects) Squire & Partners exploring a new approach to workspace light, through craftsmanship and period authenticity. The decaying Edwardian masterpiece, originally built as an annexe to the Bon Marche department store in Brixton was completely re-imagined by the architects, providing a creative hub for their multi-disciplined design team.
