StudioFractal created a comprehensive lighting strategy to bring together the new public realm designs of hard and soft landscaping, centred around the classical architecture of the Johnson Smirke building. Originally designed as a fortress-like establishment with impermeable boundaries, the site is now proposed to be opened up to create dynamic new public spaces and new connective routes to adjoining streets.
