StudioFractal created a lighting masterplan for the enlarged underground station (designed with Hawkins Brown Architects) together with a landscaped lighting scheme across St Giles Plaza (designed with Gillespies Landscape Architects). Detailed designs were then developed for the glass entrance structures with Stanton Williams.
The artificial lighting highlights the delicate strength of the crystalline structure whilst providing functional illumination to the surrounding landscape and station entrances and escalators.
