The comprehensive lighting masterplan developed for this new retail destination in Aberdeen supported the architectural vision to create a new retail and leisure quarter integrated with the Cities major transport exchange.

The combination of original heritage architecture combined with contemporary additions are all connected via a complimentary lighting strategy to highlight the range of materials and textures. A daylighting strategy was developed alongside the artificial lighting design to ensure a consistently illuminated retail environment was created day and night.

The lighting design scope comprised all interior zones, exterior landscaped public realm and architectural enhancements. Cutting edge lighting technology is interwoven within ceilings, furniture and facades to create a strong visual identity and unique retail experience.
