Designs are underway for the proposed redevelopment of the 1960s office block Elizabeth House next to Waterloo Station into a 945,000 sqft mixed-use destination. The project includes a new public space connecting Waterloo Station with the South Bank, a ‘garden promenade’ accessed from the station concourse, whilst featuring a new pedestrian street lined with shops and cafés to link up Elizabeth House with the Waterloo transport hub.
